    Classes will be taught through a hybrid-model and online instruction.  

    Session 1:  June 21 – July 8, 2021 (Monday - Thursday)  -  "JULY 5TH - HOLIDAY"

    Session 2:  July 12 – July 29, 2021 (Monday - Thursday)

    Times vary at each high school! 

     

    Student Eligibility Criteria for Summer School

    To ensure students are appropriately placed in limited summer school courses, enrollment will be considered in the priorities listed below. 

    • Current 12th grade student who needs 10 or less credits
    • Incoming 12th grade student who is credit deficient and not on track to graduate
    • Incoming 11th grade student who is credit deficient and not on track to graduate and/or who has failed a core class
    • Incoming 10th grade student who is credit deficient and not on track to graduate and/or who has failed a core class
    • Incoming 10th, 11th and 12th grade student who needs to take PE 2 and/or Health to maintain eligibility for enrollment in a specialized program in the fall.  
      No incoming 9th grade student eligible.

    Credit Recovery Independent Study (Packets) - Sunrise Tech Center

    These courses are offered through the independent study program. Students will be given independent study packets through El Sereno.  Students will have the option to meet with their instructor either virtually or in-person at least one day week.

    Times: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

    Air Force JROTC Cadet Leadership Course

     

    August 2-7, 2021

    REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

     

    Registration is open for AFJROTC Cadet Leadership Course (CLC) held August 2-7, 2021 at Del Campo High School!   Cap off your Summer with some excitement and learn leadership and teamwork with project challenges and activities!  Visit an Air Force Base and sit in an Air Force jet!  Earn high school graduation credit!  Highly recommended for all future AFJROTC cadets, but enrollment is NOT required.  Check it out - also great experience for college or job applications.

    Options For Youth Summer School Program:

    Options for Youth is a local charter school offering a July Intercession courses for local students. For this summer, all instruction will be done through distance learning. Therefore, students need access to a computer and the internet. Staff at Options have requested that your school counselor facilitate the application process, to ensure you enroll in the appropriate classes. If you would like to take classes during the summer through Options for Youth, contact your school counselor so they can fill out the application.
