• Hello

You found our webpage. Good for you!

    Lesson 1

This is all new, but as my friend Sami Kader from Sami's Circuit says,

"We got this!" No matter what, we always want to do positive

things that help our brains grow. If you follow along with the videos

and lessons here, you will learn and have fun doing it. Here is a video to

    introduce you to Sami.

Cick on the link below to listen and exercise to get oxygen to your brain:

    Setting Goals the Sami Way

Scientist Looking through a magnifying class

We are very excited about our new science program.

Our goal is to learn about our world by doing things

    that scientists do.

    tree

Now, let's practice observing our world around us. Go look around

your house, inside or outside and see if you can find 2 things that

came from a tree. In class, we read the book Chicka Chicka Boom

with a coconut tree. Coconuts come from coconut trees. Draw a

picture of the two things you found.

In the story, Chicka Chicka Boom, there were letters

in the tree. Listen and sing along to this song about letters.

    A is for Apple

Wait a minute! Did you know that the Chicka Boom tree

has a story about numbers, too? Letters make sounds, sounds make words.

Numbers tell us how many! Numbers also help us solve problems.

There is a problem in this story. See if you can figure out what the problem is

    for the numbers.

Listen to the story and tell someone the problem. What did the numbers do?

That was a great number song!

Practice writing numbers 1, 2, and 3. Remember to follow our rule number 3:

Do your best. That is always a good goal!
