7th - World History and Geography: Medieval and Early Modern Times

7th grade history courses examine the major events, people, religion and cultural characteristics in Western Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas during A.D. 500-1600.

8th - United States History and Geography, Growth and Conflict:

8th grade history focuses on American history from the beginning of our country to the early 20th century. This time period includes: the reasons behind the American Revolution, the Constitution and structure of our government, growth of Western territories, development of cities and industry, slavery, the reform era, the Civil War, Reconstruction, and the second Industrial Revolution.
