    Higher education desirable including courses in early childhood, child psychology, or behavior modification.

    Child Development Assistant

    In licensed facility

     

    Pass District Proficiency Test.

    12 ECE units and an Associate Teacher Permit required.

    Child Development Permit Teacher

    Discovery Club (School-Age)

    Possession of a Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the Californian Commission on Teacher Credentialing.  Infant programs require a minimum of 3 core infant units.

    Hourly:  $16.24 - $33.97

    Preschool Teacher

    Head Start, State Preschool, Home-Based Early Head Start, WRAP

    A Child Development Teacher Permit (Site Supervisor or above) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

    BA with 24 ECE/CD units (including the 3 core classes), +6 units administration; +2 units adult supervision

    9 months

    Hourly:  $29.87 - $33.97

    Plus benefits

    TOSA – All Programs

    Possession of a Child Development Teacher Permit (Site Supervisor or above) issued by the Californian Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

    BA with 24 ECE/CD units (including the 3 core classes), +6 units administration; +2 units adult supervision; +minimum of 3 core infant units if working with Infant Toddler program

    12 months

    Hours: $29.87 – $33.97

    ECE Content Specialists

    A Child Development Teacher Permit (Site Supervisor or above) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing plus 5 years of applicable teaching experience.

    BA with 24 ECE/CD units (including the 3 core classes), +6 units administration; +2 units adult supervision

    12 months

    Hours: $29.87 – $33.97
