Hello Pasteur Tigers and Families!
I am so excited to spend this school year with you! It will be challenging, but I will be there to help you exceed your expectations! This year I will be teaching 6th grade ELA & 6th grade ELA Honors.
I have been teaching in San Juan Unified since 2006 and have been teaching at Pasteur since 2009. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English, a Master's Degree in Education, and hold an Administrative Credential which allows me to fill in for our principal's from time to time when they have district meetings or are off-site. I am a life-long learner, and I hope to instill that same passion into my students.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Patrick, who is also a teacher and together we have two awesome kids! Our daughter, Madison, is 9 and will be entering 4th grade this year. She loves to play basketball and volleyball, sing and dance, and practice America Ninja Warrior moves! Our son, Colin, is 12 and will be entering 7th grade. He LOVES Star Wars, Pokemon, Minecraft, and Marvel! He also enjoys making stop-motion movies and playing video games.
I am excited to get to know each of my students and to build a strong relationship with their families in order to work together to ensure that our students are successful!
