  • As you may know, Ralph Richardson will begin hosting in person classes on November 2nd from 8:45am-12:45pm for our students who wish to return to in building learning. We ask that you adhere to the county guidelines and ensure your student does not have a fever prior to sending them to school. At this time we cannot allow outside visitors into classrooms and ask that you phone the front office for question and concerns versus coming into the building whenever possible. The upcoming two Wednesdays, October 21st and October 28th, your student will participate in asynchronous activities provided by their teacher to allow classroom staff time to prepare their classrooms for students returning.

Please keep a close eye on your email for the next two weeks as new updates will continue to come out regarding returning to in building. We are continuing to work out all the details such as drop off and pick up processes, class schedules, and classroom coverage for staff; my hope is to have all those details ironed out by the end of the week.

We look forward to your return and seeing our wonderful students! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thank you,

    Joann

  • Good Morning RRC Families,

At the SJUSD Board Meeting last night, it was announced that self-contained programs for students with moderate to severe disabilities are scheduled to re-open on November 2nd. This was the first time this date was announced to district families, special education staff, and our community. As mentioned in my email to you on Friday, October 9th,  we have called or received your response through the survey as to whether or not you would like to return and if you would need bussing. Many of you still have questions as to what exactly this will look like and we are continuing to work with our labor partners in ironing out all the details. As soon as all of the details are worked out, I will be reaching out to you with that information.

Tentatively we will be working toward 4 days a week with Wednesday no in person instruction, and 8am-12pm

We are updating our website and the information in this email will be posted in the Principal’s corner along with updates as we have them.

Please know that I am on site everyday form 8am-4pm, with the exception of Tuesday mornings from 8am-12pm, please feel free to come by and meet with me so we can discuss any questions, comments or concerns you may have. Remember that we are wearing masks and physically distancing. I will also be hosting parent information meetings this Friday: one at 8:00 am and one at 4:00 pm. If any of these times throughout the week of this Friday do not work for you, please let me know and I will work with you to schedule a time.
