Tutoring Program
The tutoring program, available free of charge for eligible students, provides after school assistance for students in 1st through 12th grades who are below grade level in reading, math and/or language arts. Your child is eligible if we have a current and complete ED 506 form on file for him/her, and if they meet specific academic requirements. To request a tutor, complete the tutoring request form (button below) and email to Samantha Manriquez, AIEP Program Coordinator, at samantha.manriquez@sanjuan.edu. Please contact our office at (916) 979-8984 with any questions.
We will find and arrange an appropriate tutor for each student who is eligible and has requested tutoring. Typically, tutors are instructional aids or a teacher from the school in which your child attends. Typically, the student will be tutored at their own school site and dates/times are arranged to fit yours and the tutor's needs.
Cultural Events
The American Indian Education Program offers several cultural events throughout the school year, culminating in a Senior Celebration for graduating seniors who are enrolled in the program.
Resource Directory
