Serving on the Board of Education
San Juan Unified School District will have four seats to the district's Board of Education in November of 2022. For the first time ever, candidates for the board must reside within the specific trustee area they will represent. Seats in trustee areas 3, 5, 6 and 7 will be decided by voters this fall.
This election also marks the board's move from five to seven members in an effort to expand community representation. As a result, areas 6 and 7 do not have current incumbent board members.
This page will be updated between now and the election to share basic information about the process with local residents.
