• Hello Charles Peck Families,

    Welcome Back to School,

We were all hoping that the start of the school year would be different, but your safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority, so we'll be starting this year together in a Distance Learning model.  You and your children are ever present in our thoughts and missed everyday and our goal is to provide a rich and engaging learning experience whether that happens virtually or in person. Moreover, our staff has been working hard all summer long to prepare for this circumstance we find ourselves in at this time and are committed to meeting the needs of your children.  Of course, we can't wait until we are able to engage in person, but until that time comes, please know that we are in this together and will find our way out of this together!

One of the ways we can support distance learning is to provide. a device to those that need one.  You have been asked to complete emergency cards and let us know on that form if you need a device.  Our device deployment date is August 5 from 8:00-5:00 at Charles Peck.  We will also be distributing textbooks and school materials at that time.  If you purchased a yearbook last year, you will be able to pick that up as well.  We will be following the safety guidelines to help slow the spread of Covid 19 (wear a mask, wash your hands often, and maintain social distance of 6 Ft).

A welcome letter will be sent soon, but in the meantime, please check the portal for tentative class assignments.  We will also give that information out during device deployment; you may also receive some communication from your child's teacher.  Placements are tentative based on enrollment numbers and any health/safety information we receive as we transition from distance learning to a hybrid model later on.  Your patience and cooperation during this unprecedented time is appreciated.

Please check back for new information and stay safe and healthy.

    Respectfully,

    Mary Cardoso, Principal
