• Hello Grand Oaks Gator Families,

First of all, stay safe and healthy.  You and your children are ever present in my thoughts and are missed each and every day during this unprecedented time and through this school closure.  My top priority is to ensure the safety of our Gator family including our students, parents, staff, and the surrounding community.  This is a highly evolving situation with constantly changing circumstance related to COVID-19.

In light of these health and safety events, our staff is working very hard to provide you and your children with opportunities to connect and engage using a variety of tools.  Please check our website for a list of online enrichment activities as well as a list of Grand Oaks staff contact information.    Most teachers have put many resources on their ClassDojo class page and on the ClassDojo school page. Some teachers have sent emails as well. If you have questions or need more information lease communicate during teacher office hours.  We will not be asking students to complete assignments and we will provide virtual office hours to support students with enrichment activities.

Grand Oaks is one of 27 sites offering a mobile walk-up or drive through meal service (lunch and breakfast for the following day) for children 18 and under.  Meals will be available beginning March 17 through April 3 from 11:30 a.m-12:30 p.m.  Children must be present in order to receive a meal.

Moreover, our district is in close contact with health officials and will continue to monitor the situation.  Please check the district website at www.sanjuan.edu for updates and be sure that your most current information is available so you can receive information via our district notification system.  You can find instructions on how to update your preferences for the notifications system at www.sanjuan.edu/MyNotifications.

I will be working throughout the next few weeks to update our website and to check in with our Grand Oaks Family.  Take care and let me know if there is anything, I can do to ease your minds and hearts during this very unusual time.

    With Good Health,
    Mrs. Landuyt
