    August 2022

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year, Wildcats!

I am so thrilled to see you all back here on campus in just a few short weeks! The summer has absolutely flown by and we are so excited to welcome you back and hear all about your time off this summer.

This year, we are taking all we have learned over the past few years and applying that to really dig into how we support student learning. We have learned so many new tricks and tools over the last few years. Using our understanding of student needs along with our knowledge of innovative instructional practices, we continue to refine our practices in supporting student achievement.

At Northridge, we are committed to partnering with our families and community to support student learning. We are excited to welcome our families back on campus this year! There are many opportunities to get involved on our campus including through our School Site Council, PTA, volunteering in the classroom or on field trips. I am thrilled to share with you that this year, we will be bringing back Lunch with a Loved One. This event will occur once each trimester where families are invited to have lunch with their student/s here on campus.

If you have not already done so, please consider joining us on social media, where you will receive updates and announcements. You can find us at @NRWildcats on Instagram and join our family page on Facebook at Northridge Elementary or the closed group, “Northridge Parent/Family Group.”

I also send out weekly all calls on Sunday evenings with information on the upcoming week. Please be sure to listen to those calls and check your email for these announcements!

Please also note the change in start and end times this year:
