Dear Pasadena Families,

Welcome back Pasadena families. I hope you all had a restful summer break! I am privileged and thrilled to have another opportunity to be at Pasadena as your Principal. I look forward to working with you as a partner to make this school year enriching for all students. I am excited for the 2022-2023 academic school year. Our Pasadena family looks forward to seeing our students on the first day of school, Thursday, August 11^th.

This year our school hours have changed. The hours for M, T, W, and F will be from 7:45 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.  On Thursday’s the hours will be from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Breakfast will be from 7:15-7:35. Please make sure students are not on campus before 7:15, there will be no supervision. The morning walk will be from 7:35 a.m.-7:45 a.m. Students will line up by their classroom number marked on the blacktop when the bell rings.  Teachers will pick them up and walk them to class.  TK & K students will be picked up from the cafeteria at 7:45 a.m. and will be walked to the classroom.

This year we will continue with our drop-off and pick-up procedures as we had last year. Drop-off is a drive-through process. If you would like to walk your child to school, you can find a parking space in our parking lot if available or off campus.  Parents and guardians are welcome to walk onto campus at dismissal. Our times are staggered and it is important you come early to find a parking space off campus. If you have a handicap placard, you will be allowed through our parking lot, please show our staff. Your patience and cooperation are key to favorable results.  It is essential that you follow directions as SAFETY is a priority! I ask that you do the following: drive the speed limit when driving through our parking lot and around the school, keep your radio down, stay off the phone, and be respectful and follow employee directions.             

We have many wonderful plans for the school year and, in order to keep up to date with all that happens at Pasadena, I invite you to check out our website, read the marquee next to my office door, listen to my phone call announcements, read flyers that go home, get connected with our parent liaison Kim Winkler, join the PTO, and/or stop by the office for any information or questions.
