The Library Media Center at Cambridge Heights has almost 9,000 books and student computers to look up where to find a book using the online catalog or students can take Accelerated Reader quizzes. Each week, every Kindergarten-5th grade class visits the library at an assigned time. During their visit, students are introduced to various authors, genres, or given instruction in research or library skills. They are also able to check out books for 7 days. Kindergarten through third graders can check out one book and fourth through fifth grade can borrow two books. Each student understands it is their responsibility to take care of their library books and to return them on time or renew them for a longer period.

The library is open during class visits and at lunch Monday through Friday (Pod B/C 11:50-12:15 pm; Pod D 12:10 to 12:40).
