Welcome to the library Tigers!

 The library at Thomas Edison Language Institute is open to all students.  We offer a wide selection of books including diverse books for all readers.  Books from our library are borrowed and must be returned in one week.  Books returned on time can be enjoyed by many students.
All students are responsible for returning their borrowed library books or paying for lost books. 

 
We also partner with the Sacramento Public Library, every student in San Juan Unified now has access to all of the online resources provided by the Sacramento Public Library.  Students can easily log in to the Sacramento Public Library website by clicking on the logo.

How to Browse the Library Catalog

You must be clear of all checkouts and lost books (fines) before you can borrow new books.  To check if you have any fines, follow the steps in the slideshow in How to Browse Library Catalog.

The school have purchased BookFlix an online literacy resource that pairs classic animated storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction ebooks from Scholastic.  By linking fact and fiction, BookFlix reinforces early reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration.  Our subscription includes unlimited access for every student, at school and at home.  Click on Logo.
