Attendance

Parents are responsible for clearing students' absences.  If an absence is not cleared, the student will be marked with an unexcused absence.

• Call the school if your child is going to be absent: (916) 979-8142, 24-hour attendance line.

• Doctor, Dentist, Counseling and Court visits are considered excused absences.  In order for it to be excused, there must be documentation that includes date of visit and a signature verifying the visit.  Please ask for this documentation during the visit and bring it to school within a three-day period of visit.

• If an absence is not cleared, it will be considered unexcused (truant).
