Boys Flag Football – Congrats to those who participated on the “combined” team at OVParks. 2017 Boys Flag Football will start in August and finish in late October.

 

Girls Volleyball – Congrats to the 6/7 “Grey” team led by Coach Tatyana Prok for winning their league championship!

2017 Girls Volleyball will start in August and finish in late October.

 

Below are how the GRDC teams finished:

Comp Team (Coach Raffaelli) – Finished in 3rd place

8th Grade (Coach Azimi) – Finished in 2nd place

7th Grade (Coach Vina) - Finished in 3rd place

6/7 Grade “White” team (Coach Smith) - Finished in 7th place

Boys & Girls Track & Field - Practice and tryouts will be right after Easter 2017 and season ends middle of May. We will again join the Orangevale open team, which has practices at Casa Roble HS and since this will be again run by San Juan USD, there will be no cost. The track and field director is Jan Richmond from Orangevale Open.

 

Boys Volleyball - Cost is expected to be $60 per player this year. Expect a 5 week season in early spring of 2017. Practices are at Gold River DC Multi-Purpose Room and will compete against local middle schools. The Boys volleyball contact will be the GRDC Sports Coordinator (listed at bottom).
