College & Career

  • El Sereno Independent Study High School prepares students for a variety of post-secondary college and career opportunities.

    • Our classes meet A-G requirements and qualify for University of California credit.
    • Our students may co-enroll for certain classes at area community colleges.
    • Our students may attend (and receive credit toward graduation) in county ROP programs, Technical Education programs and Work Experience programs in the area.
    • Our school allows students to hold part-time and full-time jobs in their fields of interest while attending high school.
    • We offer a comprehensive and in-depth Career Choices curriculum that assists students with their career search. This program is a cornerstone elective that is explored in detail. Students will receive ongoing career advice throughout their Independent Study program.
