Along with art, students will participate in many of the regular camp activities such as canoeing, hiking, star gazing and skits. This program is for both beginning & advanced art students.
Join us for an exciting alpine week of playing basketball with an emphasis on basic fundamentals. Together we will improve your ball handling, shooting, rebounding, defense and knowledge of the great game of basketball. Each day you will also participate in the traditional camp activities such as boating, swimming, hiking and campfires.
Working with some of the latest digital video technology, students will spend three to four hours each day learning how to use video cameras and computers to make short documentaries and commercials. Their work will be presented at a gala event Thursday evening at camp. Computer students will also engage in traditional camp activities.
Music Camp is in its 55th year of operation at Camp Winthers and is available to students who have completed a minimum of one year instruction on a band instrument (brass, woodwinds, percussion). This rewarding program will challenge you both physically and mentally as you further develop your outdoor skills.
