Library/Media Center

  • The Mission of this Library/Media Center is to assist students in the development of the skills necessary for independent lifelong learning, provide the resources and facilities needed to help students become effective users of ideas and information, and to encourage reading for pleasure as well as information.
     
    The Library/Media Center provides a quiet place to read, study and do research. Students may take Accelerated Reader quizzes on the library's computers and find a generous selection of books to choose from that cover a wide variety of interests and reading levels. The library computers are available for students to use for school related research and academic work.

    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday7:30 - 2:45
    Thursday 7:30 - 1:45
    Open during most lunches
    Closed between lunches
     
    ALL students are required to show their current school ID card in order to check out library books, take AR quizzes and use the computers during lunches. ID cards are also required for lunch line identification, dances and other school events.
     
     
    The "searchable" on-line catalog is now available online at books.sanjuan.edu?site=163.
