Churchill band is a class taken by many students but it also exists almost as a club. Our band program has grown significantly both in size and success over the last 5+ years due largely to our talented director and equally impressive student body.   Students in band participate in several performances and shows each year both at Churchill and at other locations. Our band also enters a variety of contests/ competitions during the year and students also vie for awards like "SJUSD Honor Band" or state level honor bands. Band members also get to attend field trips to places like Six Flags and/ or Disneyland where they perform but also have fun (trips are subject to change).
