Dear Casa Roble Families,
It is an honor to have the opportunity to lead a school like Casa Roble Fundamental High School. Casa’s community and programs like SCORE, the Senior Project, ROTC, Agriculture, AVID and CTE offerings are respected throughout our region.
This is my 27th year serving the families of the San Juan Unified School District. I have been a Social Studies teacher, school counselor and high school vice principal. The opportunity to work in multiple educational roles has given me a deep understanding of students’ academic and social emotional needs and how systems in schools affect how those needs are met.
We are living through extraordinary times. The return to full time on campus instruction is exciting. However, I am mindful that all of us will be recovering from a very difficult two years. As we plan for this year together, my focus will be on creating a safe and healthy environment, providing quality education and addressing the social-emotional needs of all stakeholders. Be assured, I will listen to and learn from everyone. It will take all of us, teachers, classified staff, counselors, students, parents and our community to rebuild our Casa spirit.
I am honored to lead a school with Casa Roble’s proud tradition at the heart of the Orangevale community.
With Ram Pride,
Tanya L. Baker
Principal
