It's hard to believe that we are approaching our 180th day of school which means we are nearing the end of our first grade year. 

I have enjoyed working with each student this year and seeing the progress they have made in all areas.

 

I've asked the students to bring their backpack every day - we have many things to take home from the school year - backpacks give us a place to put them to carry them home.

 

Please note the following activities we will be participating in over the last 6 days of our time together:

Tuesday, June 4th - Share Day - students may bring a non-electronic item to share in class

Wednesday, June 5th - Field Day - we will be outside participating in many fun PE type activities - be sure to apply sunscreen at home, wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle

Thursday, June 6th - Awards Assembly at 8:55am in the cafeteria AND Game Day - students may bring a non-electronic game to play with classmates

Friday, June 7th - Teachers vs 8th Graders Tennis Ball Game - we'll be outside to watch the game AND Reading Day - students may bring a pillow/small blanket and a favorite book to read with friends

Monday, June 10th - Art Day - no supplies needed, Miss Louch will be cleaning out our classroom art supplies for students to use

Tuesday, June 11th - Last Day of School - Dismissal at 12:50 - Pizza Party for lunch - students are welcome to bring a food item to share - 26 students are in our class
