Hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving break. It's not long before winter break and New Year upon us.
Don't forget to relax and read a book during this busy, and sometimes stressful, holiday season.
Also, stay connected ...
Thanksgiving break is coming up :) Hopefully you have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation with family.
With that being said, there is a familiy who was evacuated from Paradise due to the fires. They were referred to me by agencies in Paradise. What they really need are groceries.
~Jamie Tucker & her infant daughter, her brother and her mom and step-dad all lost their homes (3 total)... they are all now living with a relative in Chico.
Food and diapers are the main concern for them right now.
egift cards can be sent to @ email@example.com
Please show them that Rio cares by helping them through the holidays.

The school year is off to a great start!
The library has had many students in already to check out books, use the computer lab, and utilize other library services. :)
Lots of books are coming in and we need help paying for them.
Please donate money to the Rio American library and help students access the latest fiction and non-fiction resources.
Here is the Dewey Decimal System for those students working on the crossword puzzle. The Dewey Decimal System is like the GPS of the library. The numbers are called call numbers and help to categorize and locate books in the library.
Welcome back to a new school year!
As the RIO librarian, I am here to help with any academic needs you might have... research, computers, printing, copying, book recommendations... just ask :)
Please remember a few basic rules whenever visiting the Rio Library.
~No food or drinks (except water bottles).
~Have your student ID with you in order to check out books.
~Respect others learning by working quietly.
