These benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. The District contribution for your benefits are determined by your applicable employee group. Employee premiums costs for the 2021 plan year can be found here.New benefit eligible employees must enroll within 30 days of the date of starting in the benefit eligible position. If you do not enroll at this time, your next opportunity will be during the annual Open Enrollment period which is held during November. Elections made during Open Enrollment are effective January 1st.If you have a qualifying event, such as marriage, domestic partnership, divorce, birth of a child, death of enrolled family member, change in employment status etc, you have 30 days from the date of the event to make changes to your medical plan, dental plan, or vision plan, or your section 125 reimbursement account.
