Message from the Principal
October 2, 2018
It hardly seems possible that we are already in our 7th week of school, and that the first progress grades have gone out! Now, just as we are settled into that routine we are going to have a four day weekend. There will be no school for students on Friday, October 5 or on Monday October 8.
Then on Wednesday, October 10th we will have a late start at 11:10 for our freshman and seniors so that our sophomores and juniors can be given the PSAT. This is an important test for our students, and is their opportunity to qualify for the National Merit Scholar program.
Seniors and freshmen will have class forums beginning at 11:10. At the senior forum we will have information regarding graduation activities, we will distribute order forms for the cap and gown, and take the senior panoramic picture for the yearbook. Freshmen will have class activities in the gym.
Our Homecoming Game and Dance will be October 12 and 13 and I hope many of our students will plan to participate and attend these events.
Quarter grades will be out on October 19th. Please continue to monitor your child’s progress in their classes.
I hope to see many of you at our monthly Principal and Parents meeting on October 17.
