Here you can find information on Classroom music, Band and Choir at LeGette Elementary School

Classroom music at LeGette School is based on Education Through Music.  ETM is the study of artful teaching and the process of learning through song and play.  ETM activities build the imaging system and symbolization process through the synergy of language, song, movement, and interactive play;  thereby, laying the foundation for the building of intelligence. Check each grade's page for more information regarding the state standards for music education.

Band at LeGette is open to all 5th and 6th grade students.  Enrollment is at the beginning of the year, for the entire year.  We have band for first year players and second year players.  Mr. Gerald Rheault (pronounced "Row") is our band teacher. LeGette Choir is available for all students in 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.  Check the Choir link for more information about choir.  Mrs. Teresi directs our choir.  Mr. Rheault is our performance accompanist.
