Second grade is literally the best grade ever! It’s a very exciting time in a child’s life.

Children are moving from concrete thinking to abstract conceptual thinking. The world is getting bigger for them every day.

This is a learning environment of respect, academic and social accountability, support, risk-taking, courage, and growth.

We will work very hard but since a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down – we will do lots of fun things this year!

I believe in equity for all, that it takes a village to raise a child, positive reinforcement, celebrating differences, and finding commonalities.

I have an open-door policy (just check in at the office) and I can be reached by phone or email but email is better.
