About Project SEARCH
Project SEARCH was first developed in 1996 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to provide employment and education opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities. In 2011 Project SEARCH was replicated in Sacramento through a collaboration between Kaiser Permanente, San Juan Unified School District, Futures Explored, California Alta Regional, and the Department of Rehabilitation.
Our Mission:
Project SEARCH is dedicated to providing education and training to young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through an innovative workforce career development model that benefits the individual, workplace and community.
Our primary goal is to secure integrated competitive employment outcomes for each of our graduates.
