• Distance Learning Model:
In our current virtual environment, students are still engaged daily in live Zoom meetings.  Those meetings include weekly grade level meetings, along with classes such as Advisory, Perspectives, Critical Reading and Writing, economics, psychology, science, yearbook, band and more!  Live zoom sessions also include personalized math and science support, individual teacher's office hours, student led clubs, student government and a very lively career cafe where students can learn career skills, polish their resume' and hear from professionals in a variety of fields.  A student's sample schedule might look like:
    9am - Empirical Reasoning (science)
    10am - Arts, Media & Entertainment
    11am- Math Support
    1pm - Yearbook
    2pm - English support
    3pm - Psychology

    Fully Re-opened Model:
At Meraki we operate under the belief that student engagement drives attendance. The purpose of the school is to revive the creative genius in our students by providing them with opportunities to co-create and co-teach throughout their school day in order to construct an environment that is responsive to their changing learning needs and desires. In pursuit of this belief staff and students will co-design their learning schedule each day.
Though we operate under an independent study model, in a fully re-opened environment, student schedules may be flexible, but previous schedules looked like the following:
    9:00-10:00am = Advisory
10:00am-2:00pm = independent work time, deep dives, crash courses, and flows
    2:00-2:30pm = Advisory
    9:00-9:30am = Advisory
10:00-11:30am = independent work time, deep dives, crash courses, and flows
    11:30am-12:00 = Closing Conclave
