• Will Rogers takes pride in student activities!  We are constantly engaging our students in both our school community and our global community.  We have organized food drives, created school education and hygiene kits for students in Africa, collected money for Hurricane victims, raised money for our Jars of Hope project.
Will Rogers reaches out to the community through service, positive communication, and partnerships. Our website contains links to our Mustang News, a video version of the morning announcements and our information releases. The morning announcements and information releases keep the student body and community updated. Faculty members and student representatives work closely with the Student Site Council and Parent Teacher Council to keep them informed of student government activities.
This year students and teachers participated in programs to promote Unbridled Acts of Kindness among the students- Say No to Bullying, Stood Up, ‘We Care’ Assembly, and Positive Referral Program within our Positive Behavior System (PBS).
In addition to the Unbridle Acts of Kindness programs students participated a community fundraiser, “Pennies for Patients” to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Tanner Lohse, student council advisor, with WRMS students have used the Red Robin U-ACT theme of Unbridled Acts to tie-in with a charitable program through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Through ‘Pennies for Patients’ program, students were challenged to fill individual collection boxes with pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters to help raise money for kids with cancer, throughout the first of March.
