We are presently preparing for graduation which will potentially take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church. Even if you graduated earlier in the school year, we hope that you will join us for this very special event.
To be eligible to attend our graduation ceremony, you must:
- Place your Cap & Gown order no later than Friday, March 26, 2021
- Return all books and/or pay all fines by Thursday, May 27, 2021
- Participate in the mandatory graduation rehearsal held on the day of graduation, Friday, June 4, 2021

Caps and Gowns (due by March 26)
Caps, gowns, and tassels are required wardrobe for the graduation ceremony. Graduates have the option of purchasing the graduate packages, or using one of our loaner cap, gown, and tassel sets. Suggested dress for men - shirt and tie, dress pants, and dress shoes. Suggested dress for women - dress/pant suit and dress shoes.
Student Talent (due by March 26)
Each year at graduation, we feature our talented students. If you have a talent (sing, play an instrument, etc.) and would like to perform at the graduation ceremony, please contact Mr. Feliz at 971-5071 or mfeliz@sanjuan.edu to schedule an audition by March 26, 2021.
Graduation Speeches (due by March 26)
Each year at graduation, speeches are made by some of our graduates. If you have an interest in speaking at our graduation, please submit your speech in written form by March 26, 2021.
Scholarship Applications (due by March 26 - Rm 1)
Those students planning to continue their post-secondary education, either at a community college, a 4-year college, or a vocational training school next fall, can apply for a scholarship.
Textbooks, Chromebooks and Fines (TBD)
All textbooks, chromebooks must be returned and all overdue fines from all past San Juan USD high schools must be paid prior to graduation ceremony. Graduates owing fines or having unreturned textbooks will be able to participate in the graduation ceremony, however, they will not receive their diploma until all fines are cleared. Please be aware that textbooks will not be accepted at the graduation ceremony.
Rehearsal (11:30 am - 12:30 pm, June 4) - MANDATORY
Graduates participating in the graduation ceremony must attend the rehearsal, no exceptions. Please arrive no later than 11:30 am.
Ceremony (evening, June 4)
Graduates must arrive at 6:00 pm. Ceremony starts promptly at 7:00 pm. Please be aware that balloons are not allowed in the graduation venue. For guests arriving late, doors will be locked during the color guard and graduate processional, admittance to the hall will be barred until this honor is complete.
Diploma Pick-up (after ceremony June 4)
Students will pick up their diploma after the graduation ceremony, returning all borrowed caps, gowns, and tassels.
