From the Principal

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the Principal of Thomas Edison Language Institute. I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to lead a school community that has a rich history of academics, student enrichment, parent involvement, and tradition! I can honestly say that we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to impact our students for ten years of their lives positively. That’s for one decade! Along with our teachers, support staff, and parent leaders, I will dedicate my time to continue our collaborative legacy of success by sustaining and building upon our rich Culture and Climate, while adding a human element to everything we do.

 

We will focus on school-wide positive behavior intervention system, best practices in teaching and learning, the use of data to drive instruction and provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner. By doing so, we can continue to increase student academic achievement and experiences that are rigorous, relevant, and help students build relationships while making real-world connections.

 

As your school community leader, it is important to me that everyone involved feel connected, welcomed, and excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and caring environment. I know that this year is going to be one of our best ever!!!!
