Why Choose Carnegie

  • Andrew Carnegie Middle School was selected as one of only five middle schools in the state of California as a 2011 California School To Watch. This is the highest honor a middle school can receive in California. In order to be named a California School To Watch, 37 criteria needed to be met; including test scores, climate, diversity and inclusion.

Andrew Carnegie has a dedicated staff, committed to excellence. It is the mission of Andrew Carnegie  to develop independent thinkers and community leaders. We hope to inspire our students by providing dynamic instruction that celebrates diversity, fosters unique interests, and encourages all of our students to "Own It".
