  • The Orangevale Recreation and Park District currently oversees the girls' volleyball, boys' basketball and girls' basketball programs.  Coaching staff is typically provided by the OVRPD, and students must be registered and pay for the activity through the OVRPD.

    The San Juan Unified School District currently sponsors the wrestling and track & field programs.  Coaches are typically Carnegie staff members, and there is no cost for students to participate.

    .

    Carnegie Middle School offers a variety of recreational after-school sports.  The seasons take place roughly as follows:

    Girls' Volleyball - early September through late October

    Cross Country - Mid September through October

    Boys' Basketball - late October through mid-January

    Wrestling - November through March

    Girls' Basketball - mid-January through mid-March

    Track & Field - March through May

     

     

    When registration and/or sign ups for a sports activity are approaching, information will be provided on the Carnegie Connection morning announcements and published in the 

    parent e-newsletter Carnegie Chronicle.
