    P-EBT Food Benefits:  Due to coronavirus (COVID 19), children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals at school will get extra food benefits. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT benefits. P-EBT benefits help families in California buy food when school is closed.

    CalFresh applications Assistance

    CalFresh can add to your family's food budget to put healthy and nutritious food on the table. The program issues monthly electronic benefits that can be used to buy food in many markets, food stores, and some farmers' markets. It takes less than 5 minutes to see if you qualify and just 30 minutes for a confidential appointment to complete your application.

    Sacramento Food Bank ('Touchless' Drive Through) at Arcade Church

    Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is hosting a new drive-through distribution. In order to follow social distancing guidelines, these food distributions will be “touchless.” Attendees will not leave their cars. Food will be placed directly in the trunk of vehicles. For those without access to a car, you may walk up.

    Arcade Church (3867 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95821)

    • When: Every Tuesday
    • Frequency: Weekly, until further notice
    • Time: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. (or until all food is gone)
    • Distribution style: One-way drive-through will take place in the parking lot on the corner of Marconi Avenue and Becerra Way. Enter distribution via driveway on Becerra Way. In order to follow social distancing guidelines, the food distribution will be "touchless". Attendees will not leave their cars. Food will be placed directly in the trunk of vehicles.
