English as a Second Language

  •

FREE English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship classes for adults in the Greater Sacramento area, are offered at beginning to intermediate levels on a continuous basis. These classes focus on communication for work, home, school, and the community, and help develop and improve communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students improve their English grammar, gain important life skills, and learn more about American culture.

All students must take a placement test and attend an orientation session to determine the appropriate level for class placement. For more information, email us at: Adult.Education@sanjuan.edu or call (916) 971-7654.
