Teachers’ primary platform for instruction and communication during distance learning is Google Classroom. Students are expected to log in to Google Classroom daily to attend classes. Once a student is logged in to Google Classroom, the teacher may direct the student to other online instructional sites (i.e. Zoom, Flipgrid).
Students are also expected to check their student Gmail email account regularly, as that is where notifications of assignments are generated, teacher-issued Zoom invitations are sent, and other communications appear. We recommend students clear out all of last year’s Gmail messages and start this school year with an empty inbox.
