Here are a few highlights from the Oct. 28 board meeting (the agenda packet is available):

Board receives report regarding middle and high school 2024-25 end-of-year data results

Staff provided a report regarding the middle school and high school 2024-25 end-of-year data results, including the results of the 2025 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) assessments. In addition, suspension and chronic absenteeism data was shared. The purpose is to use this data to inform equity-driven continuous improvement work as we focus on improving outcomes for our targeted student groups and, more broadly, all students in San Juan Unified.

In this role, Allen will work in collaboration with the board, superintendent’s cabinet, site leaders and staff to ensure the district’s daily operations and strategic initiatives continue moving forward in service of students, families and the broader community.
