Mariemont Elementary School to cut ribbon on campus modernization project
San Juan Unified School District is proud to announce the completion of Mariemont Elementary School’s modernization project. The community is invited to Mariemont Elementary School’s ribbon-cutting ceremony, scheduled for Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. Those interested in attending this event can RSVP through this form.
Mariemont’s ribbon-cutting ceremony will occur concurrently with the school’s annual Jogathon, which will also begin at 9 a.m. The event will feature student and staff speakers, and attendees will have an opportunity to take a photo in the ribbon-cutting area after the ceremony.
This campus modernization project brought classrooms to 21st-century standards, including brand-new roofing, air conditioning units, teaching walls, carpet, furniture and new interior and exterior paint for classroom buildings.
This project was made possible through voter-approved construction bonds. For more information about this project and how the district continues to invest in its facilities, please visit Mariemont’s construction page.
