Rio Americano seniors lead the charge for student wellness

Meet Elisheva Joelson and Marina Kidwell, two inspiring seniors at Rio Americano High School who are working to launch a Wellness Room on campus! As part of their CIVITAS senior project, they are creating a safe space where students can de-stress, take a break and access mental health resources.

With support from the equity team and school staff, they’ve been dedicated to making this vision a reality. Their leadership is paving the way for student-driven wellness initiatives across the district!
 

¡Conozcan a Elisheva Joelson y Marina Kidwell, dos estudiantes de último año en Rio Americano High School que están trabajando para lanzar un Salón de Bienestar en el campus! Como parte de su proyecto de último año de CIVITAS, están creando un espacio seguro donde los estudiantes puedan reducir el estrés, tomar un descanso y acceder a recursos de salud mental.

Con el apoyo del equipo de equidad y el personal escolar, se han dedicado a hacer realidad esta visión. ¡Su liderazgo está abriendo el camino para iniciativas de bienestar impulsadas por estudiantes en todo el distrito!

با الیشِوا جوئلسن و مارینا کِدوِل آشنا شوید – دو شاگرد الهام‌بخش صنف دوازدهم در لیسه ریو امریکانو که در حال کار روی ایجاد یک "اتاق آرامش" در محوطه مکتب هستند!  این پروژه بخشی از کار نهایی آن‌ها در برنامهٔ CIVITAS است، جایی که آن‌ها می‌خواهند یک فضای امن برای شاگردان فراهم کنند تا استراحت کنند، استرس خود را کاهش دهند و به منابع مربوط به سلامت روان دسترسی داشته باشند.

با پشتیبانی تیم برابری و کارمندان مکتب، آن‌ها با تعهد کامل در تلاش هستند تا این فکر را به واقعیت تبدیل کنند. رهبری آن‌ها راه را برای ابتکارات جدید در زمینهٔ سلامت روان، به رهبری شاگردان، در سراسر حوزه تعلیمی باز کرده است!
