San Juan High School to celebrate stadium modernization with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 23

San Juan High School will celebrate a major milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newly modernized stadium on Thursday, April 23 at 9 a.m. Students, families, staff and community members are invited to attend and take part in this exciting moment for the school.

The modernization project represents a significant investment in San Juan High School’s students, athletic programs and the broader community. The upgraded stadium features a new synthetic all-weather track and field, a new scoreboard, two new tennis courts, and enhanced facilities, including a ticket booth, concession area and restrooms. Additional improvements include stadium security fencing and cameras, ADA-compliant walkways, path-of-travel lighting and new irrigation and landscaping.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the stadium and will include remarks from students and staff, as well as a special performance by the school band. The event offers an opportunity to celebrate not only the completion of the project, but also the continued growth and pride of the San Juan High community.

Attendees are encouraged to wear San Juan High School spirit wear or school colors (red and white) in recognition of Spirit Wear Day.

Community members interested in attending can RSVP at sanjuan.edu/sjstadiumRSVP

San Juan High School looks forward to celebrating this exciting achievement together.
