San Juan Unified brings back "Families Matter” conference on Oct. 7
San Juan Unified School District families and educators are invited to kick off the school year successfully with this Fall’s “Families Matter: Setting the Stage for Success” conference on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Arden Middle School.
San Juan Unified School District is continuing this free, fun, family-friendly conference that provides families and educators with information and skills to be successful in the classroom and at home.
All attendees will receive:
- A conference gift bag.
- Complimentary breakfast and lunch.
- And raffle prize tickets.
After the workshops, families can participate in interactive games, family activities and a community resource fair after lunch. Free, on-site childcare and translation support will also be available. The workshop portion of the conference will take place from 9 a.m. -12:30 p.m., and the community resource fair and family activities will take place from 12:30 - 2 p.m. Register and learn more about the conference at www.sanjuan.edu/familyed.
