San Juan Unified School District is thrilled to welcome three new principals to our district:
Carrie Jackson, Mira Loma High School
Meet Mira Loma High School’s new principal, Carrie Jackson!
Jackson is a proud product of San Juan Unified School District and is returning to the district in a new way as she begins her first year as a San Juan Unified staff member and principal of Mira Loma High School, her alma mater!
Having grown up in Sacramento, Jackson is passionate about being a community-centered leader to help open doors for students and families.

Kaycie Norton, Deterding Elementary School
With more than 15 years of experience in education, Norton brings a strong passion for supporting students, advancing inclusive practices and building strong, connected school communities.
After serving as a special education teacher and elementary school vice principal, she is excited to join San Juan Unified and continue building meaningful relationships with students, staff, families and the community.
Bethany Pearson, Del Paso Manor Elementary School
From Minnesota to California, Bethany Pearson joins Del Paso Manor Elementary School as their new principal. With years in education, Pearson’s experience includes roles as a teacher, teacher evaluator, gifted and talented coordinator, equity specialist coach and assistant principal.
