Shooting for the stars: Celebrating student growth at the GPA Improvement Awards
The annual GPA (grade point average) Improvement Awards returned last month to several San Juan Unified high schools, including Encina High School, Del Campo High School and Rio Americano High School.
Throughout February, San Juan Unified celebrated student success by recognizing hundreds of high school students for improving their GPAs between the 2024 Spring and Fall semesters.
In addition to receiving a certificate of achievement, students were entered into a raffle for a chance to win a variety of prizes. Cheers roared throughout the crowds as students won portable power banks, wireless headphones, waterproof speakers, Tile keychains and mini basketball hoops.
