Six schools receive $100,000 in grants through the San Juan Education Foundation

The San Juan Education Foundation, through support from the Link Logistics Community Grants Program, awarded $100,000 in educator grants to six schools across the San Juan Unified School District. 

The San Juan Education Foundation supports San Juan Unified staff in addressing barriers to learning and bringing their educational vision to life. From more engaging productions to amplifying student voice, the reward is centered on the impact of these investments on student success.

Casa Roble Fundamental High School - $26,000
Upgrades to Casa Roble’s theatre lighting system will give students hands-on experience with technology while enhancing safety, teaching and performance quality.

Mira Loma High School - $20,000
Modernization of Mira Loma’s Black Box Theatre lighting and control systems will create a safer, more equitable performing arts space and provide students with real-world technical learning opportunities.

Dyer-Kelly Elementary School - $20,000
Improvements to classroom technology and student seating will support Dyer-Kelly’s inclusive learning environments, strengthen performing arts and expand access for English learners and intervention students.

Coyle Avenue Elementary School - $19,000
Shade structures will be added to Coyle’s outdoor spaces, creating flexible learning areas that support unique learning and collaboration.

Will Rogers Middle School - $14,000
Professional media equipment will strengthen Will Rogers’ student-produced news program, amplifying student voice and increasing accessibility through improved production capabilities.

Albert Schweitzer Elementary School - $5,000
Adaptive tricycles will create more inclusive and joyful play opportunities for Schweitzer’s transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students.
