Encina High School Modernization

Encina's front office has been temporarily relocated to the north side of campus, where Katherine Johnson Middle School's office was located when the schools shared a campus. Visitors can follow directional signage to get to the front office.

Additionally, classrooms O and Q were demolished, making way for the new science building. The community is invited to the official groundbreaking ceremony of the science building project on Aug. 28 at 9:30 a.m. RSVP here.

The first phase of Encina's campus modernization is well underway with updates to classroom wings. These upgrades include new paint, carpets and furniture to enhance our students’ learning experience. Check out photos below of one of the refreshed classrooms.

Three cheers for Encina High School  - the campus has officially begun its modernization project. This spring, light modernization efforts will occur in the school’s classroom wings. These upgrades include new paint, carpets and furniture to enhance our students’ learning experience. This modernization project directly follows the departure of Katherine Johnson Middle School from Encina's campus, to its new location on Kent Drive. 

In the summer, classroom buildings O and Q will be demolished to make room for four new science classrooms, which will feature workrooms and an outdoor learning environment. Additional upgrades will include modernization of the cafeteria, administrative building, locker rooms and library. You can watch a preview rendering of the upgraded campus here.
