San Juan High School Science Wing Modernization

Project Background

San Juan Unified will soon begin the modernization of the science wing at San Juan High School, funded by the district's bond program. This project will modernize the space to better support student learning and success. In addition to updated science classrooms, sitewide improvement will include:

  • New interior and exterior paint
  • New flooring
  • Updated furniture
  • New window coverings
  • Abatement
  • Gutters
  • New whiteboards
  • Removal of select casework and lockers
  • New acoustical wall panels

Construction partners on this project include CORE Construction, Kitchell and Studio W Architects.
 

Project Timeline

  • Summer 2026 - Mobilization and demolition begin.
