Facilities Master Plan

Explore our updated Facilities Master Plan
San Juan Unified School District is committed to supporting growth and innovation in our schools. An important way to cultivate these values is to provide 21st-century standard classrooms and facilities to our students.
San Juan Unified’s Facilities Master Plan (FMP) is a long-term, districtwide planning tool designed to guide investments in our school and support facilities. It offers a clear, data-driven roadmap to ensure that all students and staff have access to safe, modern, and high-quality learning environments, now and in the future.
What does the FMP include?
- Campus-by-campus facility assessments
- Cost estimates for potential modernization projects
- Site and building layout concepts
- Demographic trends and enrollment projections
- State funding opportunities
- Deferred maintenance needs
- A scoring rubric to prioritize projects equitably
The Facilities Master Plan is a living document that will be updated regularly as projects are completed, new needs emerge and funding opportunities evolve. Our goal is to keep the plan responsive and relevant to the communities we serve.
