Mental health and well being is crucial to being a productive learner, nurturer and educator! Developing skills to care for others as well as yourself is important and often needs assistance. If you are concerned about someone's social emotional well-being, please visit your school site. Sites have systems of referral to support students and families.

San Juan Unified students, families and staff can now find referrals to pre-screened mental health providers through the Care Solace service. A simple, fast and safe tool for substance abuse and mental health help ~ a trusted community of care in partnership with San Juan Unified School District.

Free digital behavioral health platforms for children and families available through the state
The California Department of Health Care Services has launched two free behavioral health services applications for all families with children. The services provide free, safe and confidential mental health support for young people and families:
- BrightLife Kids is for parents or caregivers and children 0-12 years old.
- Soluna is for teens and young adults ages 13-25.
Each app offers coaching services in English and Spanish, as well as telephone-based coaching in all Medi-Cal threshold languages.
