  • Please click on the following link to be directed to the online intra-district transfer application for the 2021-2022 school year: Intra-district transfer application. This online application is available in English and Spanish and will be submitted directly to our department. Families that submit an intra-district transfer application for the 2021-2022 school year will be notified the result of the request via mail by June 2021. 

     

     

    Intra-district transfer applications are also available in the following languages: (Arabic) (Ukrainian) (Russian) (Farsi/Dari) (Spanish). Please email the completed application to transferdesk@sanjuan.edu 

  • Intradistrict Transfer Enrollment Options

     

    Option 1: Open Enrollment Lottery

    The first option to request a school transfer is through the Open Enrollment Lottery process. The Open Enrollment Lottery period occurs between the first Monday in December at 8 a.m. and the third Friday in January at 5 p.m. 

     

    Option 2: Intradistrict Transfer

    If your request does not fall within the Open Enrollment period, complete an Intradistrict Transfer Request. The priority window for intradistrict transfers is between the first Monday in March through the last Friday in April. Residents of San Juan Unified who did not participate in the Open Enrollment Lottery would need to submit an INTRA district transfer request during the priority window.

     An Intradistrict Transfer is a request a student to attend a school other than their resident school. 
  • Who is eligible for an Intradistrict transfer?

    All families who reside within the boundaries of the San Juan Unified School District.
